What I Do: I provide thoughtful, comprehensive care grounded in evidenced based practice and individualized treatment planning that reflects your personal treatment goals. What to Expect: Expert medication titration and prescribing based on condition, age, treatment plan, and medical history. I incorporate the patient's specific goals into medication management so we can make decisions together. I try to take insurance status / finance into consideration as well and prescribe medications that my patients are able to afford. What to Expect for Children and Adolescents: As part of my assessments of children and adolescents, I like to spend time with the child as well as the parent/guardian in order to obtain the most information possible. It allows me to make informed treatment decisions. I take prescribing medication to children and adolescents very seriously and I want to be sure that medication therapy is necessary before I prescribe. Who I Am: I am a doctorally prepared, ANCC board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience treating a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses in children and adults. I hold doctoral and master’s degrees from Florida International University. The Team: I work in collaboration with Shlomo Pascal, MD, an adult and child psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in the field. Fees Fees are based on the type of evaluation. Initial evaluations take longer and therefore cost more. This is a pay for service practice, there is no subscription required like on other sites. You simply pay per visit. Refills Refills will be provided to patients who exhibit stability on their medications, up to a three month supply as appropriate.
